Known for their sweeping, atmospheric songs and passionate performances, Atlas Takes Aim's signature style of melodic and powerful guitar driven rock is garnering them big attention.

Compared to Radiohead, The Cure, Incubus, and U2, the band delights in creating emotive, dynamic songs with radio friendly hooks that explore the changing landscape of alternative rock.

Atlas Takes Aim has been playing shows and national festivals in support of their self-released album "The Only Way Out Is Through" set to release in early Spring 2010 with a whooping 18 tracks.

Drummer Joel Blickenstaff, vocalist and guitar player, Mason Ian, and bassist Billie “the girl” Bundschuh

Mason Ian
Vocalist & Lead Guitar

Born: Palm Springs, CA
Raised: Hawaii
Hobbies: Writing

Mason was raised in Hawaii and educated in England which means he surfs and drinks tea. He’s been in tons of bands and in addition to mixing and mastering Atlas Takes Aim's albums, he writes books and short stories, and dreams of one day wrestling a gator.
Joel Blickenstaff
Drums

Born: New York
Raised: Las Vegas, NV
Hobbies: Making videos on Final Cut Pro

Joel is one of those guys who is so naturally gifted he makes everything look easy. Put him on a skateboard, he shreds; put him on drums, he rocks; put him in a room with 20 bears, he tames them. The only thing that can slow him down are sea urchins.
Billie "the girl" Bundschuh
Bass

Born: CA
Raised: CA
Hobbies: Reading

Billie rocks the bass like no one else. A California girl through-and-through, Billie is the not-so-secret weapon behind Atlas Takes Aim’s awesome ninja power. She also blogs, runs an Ebay store, and writes short stories. Her first is being published in “Catastrophia” (an anthology of stories about apocolypse) in late 2010.
